IDER conducts evidence-based support studies to fill critical knowledge gaps in a sector, sub-sector or in an area with limited rigorous evidence. Our evaluation studies are of high quality, and meet real-life evidence demands and are useful to evidence-based policymakers and other users. IDER’s evaluation works focuses on priority gaps in evidence-based decision making. We require that our evaluation teams include local researchers, and provide support for strengthening their capacities. IDER undertakes a variety of impact evaluations, including formative and process evaluations needed to inform the potential for or design of a full impact evaluation.
