Household Registration (Data Collection) in the North-East Region of Ghana

Project

This project was awarded to IDER by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) and the Ghana National Household Registry (GNHR). IDER was tasked to register or enumerate a total of 75,538 households but exceeded this target by almost 17,000 households. Thus, successfully registering or enumerating over 92,000 households at the end of the exercise.

Baseline Survey for the Improving Access to Technical and Financial Services in the Small-Scale Mining Sector Project in Ghana

Project

IDER in collaboration with the African Institute for Extractive Industries (AIEI) successfully enumerated a total sample of about 7,500 Small-Scale Mining workers and 3,000 Small-Scale Mining concession managers in the Eastern, Ashanti and Western regions of Ghana to conduct a baseline study for the Solidaridad Ghana.

We used a combination of qualitative (including Focus Group Discussions and in-depth interviews) and quantitative approaches to undertake this study.

Baseline Assessment and Situational Analysis Study for the MCHRB Scale-up Project in Ghana

Project

IDER in collaboration with LMDS successfully enumerated a total sample of about 4,500 health workers, pregnant women, and lactating mothers in the Ashanti region of Ghana to undertake a baseline assessment for JICA. IDER in conducting the study, successfully employed a mixed methods approach: An approach that combines both qualitative and quantitative
research approaches.

Stakeholder and Institutional Analysis for Resource Recovery and Reuse (RRR)

IDER successfully enumerated a sample of 3,000 households and 500 stakeholder institutions in the Greater Accra and Ashanti regions of Ghana for a Resource Recovery and Reuse (RRR) study conducted for Strasol Global Ghana Ltd. IDER used a methodology that combines both qualitative and quantitative approaches for this study.
